Refund Policy

Effective Date: June 05, 2026

This Refund Policy explains how refunds, credits, cancellations, and billing adjustments work for Tasklume Office Services. We aim to be fair, transparent, and consistent with the nature of professional services.

1. General Principle

Tasklume Office provides professional services that involve time allocation, scheduling, and execution. Because time and availability are reserved for you, refunds are limited once work has started or time has been booked. When possible, we prefer to resolve issues by correction, rework within scope, or service credits.

2. One-Time Projects

For one-time projects (such as file organization, document cleanup, migrations, or template packages), payments may be due upfront or in milestones as stated in your proposal or invoice.

If you cancel before work begins, you may be eligible for a refund of amounts paid, minus any non-refundable processing fees and any time already spent on planning, intake, or preliminary analysis.

If work has started, refunds are generally not available. However, we may offer partial credits at our discretion if the project is terminated early and a meaningful portion of the scope remains unperformed.

3. Monthly or Recurring Retainers

Retainer plans typically bill in advance for the service period. Because capacity is reserved, retainers are generally non-refundable once the billing cycle begins. If you cancel, services continue through the end of the paid period unless otherwise agreed.

If you believe you were billed in error (duplicate charge, wrong plan, wrong amount), contact us promptly. Verified billing errors are eligible for correction, which may include a refund or account credit.

4. Unused Hours and Rollovers

Unless your plan explicitly states otherwise, unused hours do not roll over. Time is allocated to ensure availability, planning, and continuity. If you anticipate underutilization in a given month, you may request scope adjustments (for example, template creation or backlog cleanup) within the available time.

5. Service Credits

In certain cases, we may offer service credits instead of refunds—particularly when there is a service interruption, scheduling issue, or scope misunderstanding that can be corrected in the next cycle. Credits are non-transferable and typically must be used within a reasonable period.

6. Quality Concerns and Resolution Process

If you are dissatisfied with deliverables, you should notify us with specific details. We will review the concern and, when within the agreed scope, provide reasonable corrections or adjustments. A refund is not the default remedy for quality concerns; we prefer to fix the issue and meet the agreed expectations.

7. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first, we may suspend Services while the dispute is reviewed. We encourage clients to communicate concerns directly to reach a quicker resolution. Documented work performed, reserved time, and delivered materials may be used to contest improper chargebacks.

8. Non-Refundable Items

The following are typically non-refundable: (a) services already performed; (b) reserved retainer capacity for an active period; (c) third-party software fees or licenses purchased on your behalf; (d) expedited work where we re-prioritize schedules to meet urgent deadlines; and (e) administrative processing costs where applicable.

9. Exceptions

We may make exceptions at our discretion in rare cases, such as proven billing errors, duplicate payments, or circumstances where the Services cannot be delivered due to factors solely within our control. Any exception does not create an obligation for future cases.

10. How to Request a Refund Review

Provide your name, the invoice or order details, the date of purchase, and a short explanation of the issue. We may request supporting information to evaluate the request. If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible; timing depends on payment processors and banks.
